1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has been working for about 7 years now and spent her first two years with XXXX as a Technical Writer where she built her foundation in technical documentation. After that, she joined XXXX, and has been with them for 4.5 years now. Her roles and responsibilities here keeps on evolving; at first, she was a technical translator and then became a project manager as well as team leader. She created XXXX first HTML interactive user menu, implemented new workflow and adopt new tools to make process efficient; they also have been working on lots of innovations. On a daily basis, they receive many projects, evaluate project deadline requirement, features, and develop timeline for documentation development as well. Just a few months ago, she is switching to the hardware documentation development already; she’s responsible for the documentation of every XXXX products specifically Dock and Inspire.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be her solid background of technical writing; she was honed during her time with XXXX since they were using a comprehensive training system and management system. Also has good skills in leveraging AI tools in increasing efficiency for work. On top of that, she has people management experience as well of 5 team members previously.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She has about 5+ years of pure technical writing experience, 2 years in technical translation, and 3.5 years of people management experience; biggest team she has managed so far was 5 people composed of English editor, translators, writers, and reviewers. In terms of her product, she has worked with hardware since her first role with XXXX and handling both software/hardware right now in XXXX; she would be confident handling hardware consumer-based products as well and can do technical specifications, manuals, and more. She’s exposed to a regulated and compliance-related field so she can learn easily the different safety standards including IEC, EN, and UL. Knowledgeable with Adobe InDesign, has hands-on skills with XML Documentation as well.
