1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She began her career in the finance industry, working for a cryptocurrency fund, which ignited her interest in technology and led to her first fintech role as a Product Manager for a subsidiary of Ping An Group in China. In this role, she focused on leveraging blockchain technology to empower the banking industry, particularly in trade finance, by streamlining processes such as PO financing, invoice financing, and customs clearance. After three years, she transitioned to a SaaS company, gaining valuable insights into SaaS operations, agile methodologies, and mature product management, where she worked on marketing technology solutions for consumer goods and luxury brands using WeChat. Seeking to return to fintech, she joined XXXX as a Business Analyst and later as a Product Manager, where she developed client-facing platforms like the DCM booking system and entitlement systems to enhance data access and management. She eventually shifted to working on FX products, managing securities, fixed income, and other non-market products, while building platforms tailored to bankers' needs for efficient data and document management. Her experience across blockchain, SaaS, and client-focused financial products has honed her expertise in fintech, project management, and product development.

She describes her strongest skills as being proficient in Figma, Visio, API testing, Agile development, PowerPoint design, translation, public speaking, Excel, SQL, and UI/UX design. These skills highlight her ability to work effectively in designing and testing applications, developing user interfaces, and managing projects in an agile environment. Additionally, her expertise in tools like Figma and Visio supports her capabilities in creating intuitive designs and workflows, while her public speaking and translation skills enable her to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

She has extensive experience in payments, particularly within a cross-border context, as part of her role at Citi. Her work focuses on both the upstream and downstream processes of payment initiation. She collaborates with clients to determine the necessary data fields for cross-border payments, extracting information from documents and requests to ensure proper processing. While not directly involved with the payment systems, she works closely with teams managing the global cash payment system and settlement systems, which use SWIFT messages to route payments across banks and countries.
As a product owner in an Agile environment, she translates business needs into technical requirements. Although she does not code, she possesses a strong understanding of system architecture and domain-driven design. Her responsibilities include designing API data fields, specifying payload requirements, and determining data flows. She is also involved in the overall design infrastructure, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. Her hands-on experience in this domain is further complemented by her completion of DFA Level 1, which adds to her robust skill set.
