1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has over 6 and a half years of experience in IT project management. His career began in a small firm, where he spent 1 and a half years delivering websites and customer ERP solutions. In this role, he communicated with clients, gathered their requirements, and coordinated with the development team to ensure that the website projects were delivered on time and within budget. He also worked on small-scale ERP solutions for clients.
After this, he moved to a consultancy firm, where he expanded his skill set by working as an SAP consultant, specifically in the SD (Sales and Distribution) module. In this role, he also assisted as a project manager officer for large-scale projects. Over the next year, he obtained several project management certifications, including PMP, Scrum Master, Google Project Management, and Prince2 Agile Practitioner. He was then promoted to project manager for internal SAP ERP projects before transitioning to external projects, including a large project for a major telecom provider, where he successfully delivered the first two phases within the budget and on schedule.
In the following phase of his career, he took on a significant role as a project manager for a public-sector company in charge of electricity distribution. Managing a project with a budget of 30 million, he led the team, facilitated communication with the client, and managed status reports and meetings. Most recently, in September 2024, he transitioned to a new company where he took on the role of a Sales Executive. In this position, he is responsible for running offers, RFPs, negotiating with clients, closing deals, and generating leads, particularly for SaaS and SAP ERP products.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
His strongest skills lie in understanding both IT and business requirements, along with project management. He excels in organizing teams and departments, effectively leading people to deliver projects successfully. His experience spans across client-facing roles, from negotiating with clients and closing deals to managing the end-to-end delivery of projects. He is highly capable of overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from securing contracts to ensuring that projects are delivered as per the client's requirements and within the stipulated timeline and budget. His organizational skills, coupled with his ability to handle complex tasks, make him proficient in delivering results across various aspects of project management.
3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more?
He has experience in product management, particularly in managing project phases using a hybrid model. His approach includes a well-structured process that starts with the initiation phase, where he ensures team enablement, schedules are constructed, and there’s clear communication with the client to keep everyone on board. In the analysis phase, he organizes workshops to collect the client's business processes, which are mapped and analyzed for integration into the ERP system. This phase includes defining and refining processes through Business Process Mapping (BPML).
Once the blueprint is signed off, he transitions into the implementation phase, where he focuses on development, facilitating meetings with the client to gather further details, and using agile methodologies, such as Kanban, daily standups, and sprint planning, to prioritize tasks and manage the product backlog. This ensures the development team is aligned with the client's priorities and goals.
Following implementation, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase and System Integration Testing (SIT) are conducted, followed by cutover actions and training for the business users to familiarize them with new procedures. After going live, he ensures continued support for the client to address any issues and provide solutions. This structured and comprehensive approach to product management ensures smooth project delivery from initiation to support.
