- He is currently working in XXX as IT Senior Manager. He is responsible in almost all-around IT Management projects such as firewall set up, data centre setup, PC and Office relocation and network set-up. He works closely with Bloomberg trading platform he just launches a Bloomberg system recently in one of his projects. The common issue that he usually supports in Bloomberg system is their data in excel, when the user banner the Bloomberg terminal they will export it in an excel file then they also have Excel data connection issues that cannot receive all the data in the excel so what he was doing is to setup a VBA and gather all the excel data and he makes sure that the connection is okay.
- He is strong in Network and Infrastructure because he has been in the industry and been doing those supports for over 12 years so extensive exposure gives him a confidence that he can do it easily. One of the complex issues that he experienced was when they have a new user which came from Europe and all the connection of that user are connected to Europe Server. Then the European user lock his unit and cannot connect and lost all his connection to European Server. His main problem is that it takes a lot of time to resolve it since the server is in Europe, so he needs to sync all the data from European server to their Asian Server. What he did was he gave him a new set of units and use VPN to connect to their European server so that while resolving the issue of his original unit, he can still do his work.
