He has been working for telecom and IT field for more than 25 years and he was not in a telecom background but he was provided an opportunity by the company, he started his career as an system integrator and helped the company in selling product like PC, Networking to enterprises and the telecom market in HK became competitive and issued new licenses to create competition and he worked for 4 telecom in Hong Kong and in Mainland China business, they also specialize in VPN and hosting service and then he moved to IT software industry and he mainly sells software for Data and IT Management and other IT services for HK, Taiwan and Mongolia and it was a regional sales role and worked with the company for 5 years.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
Since he was focused on sales and marketing and business development his skills are with people communication and selling the product on the market and problem solving on the telecom side, he has also focused on the Fintech industry and has a knowledge and understanding on Fintech. He also knows how to bring solutions to the clients and end-users and help them understand the product more.
- He then joined his current company which is a local company in HK, and they mainly focus their service on HK, and they also have offices in Malaysia but the company is more focused on their sales in HK and he takes of the business in HK mostly in software services the product focuses more on IT Management like software implementation products (like document management).
He worked in a company for more than 5 years is more focused on enterprise and more focused. He was selling a micromanage software product before and has worked and reached out with different clients and companies to introduce the product and explain the functions and he managed to seal a deal for 15 years and on the banking side and worked with Standard Charted and HSBC and able managed to seal a deal with these companies as well and some of the traders and stock brokers and they had to apply IT software to monitor and trace the trading platform and worked with the software team. |
