Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
After graduating from university, she has been working in the IT industry for the past 8 years. She started off with a telecommunication domain being a Business Support Services Officer where she was involved in lots of backend IT systems, telco domains such as SMS or calling system, and prepaid packaging. After that, moved to Hong Kong and worked in more data centric role as a Database Administrator for an international school, XXXX where she was involved in managing the entire student information system, all their backend IT databases. While working there, she also did her part-time Master’s in Information Technology. She is currently working at XXXX as a Data Consultant where she is involved in building data lake house, warehouse, and doing some kind of analytics or reporting on top of those data assets. She is also doing some data analytics here, creating dashboards using Power BI.

What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be SQL and databases in general since she has been working with lots of data for the past few years. Rates herself a 4.5 out of 5 when it comes to databases including her knowledge, skills, and experiences.

Has about 8+ years of experience when it comes to handling data and data engineering works. She is good with Python and has learned C++ during her university days. Has worked with SQL, MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and also has worked with Oracle. Experienced in building automated data pipelines and mapping across databases. Have done projects using Azure and Alibaba Cloud; has high-level understanding of AWS and GCP.
