1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Have been in Hong Kong for about 10 years now and had both of his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Hong Kong. During his Master’s, he’s involved with cryptocurrency projects and after graduation, joined XXXX as a Quantitative Researcher where he was responsible for creating new funds which is related to cryptocurrency as well. He also worked with lots of data projects, building few of their dashboards for both of their clients and traders. Most of the jobs he joined are all utilizing Python so right now that would be his strongest programming language. He is currently working for XXXX as a Backend Engineer where he mainly deal with data and is currently building a data pipeline for chat bots. He is also a part-time coding instructor for XXXX.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be mostly related to Python, mainly on data manipulation side such as data science, conversion of data to another structure. He is also proficient with API use and scraping data sources from various different sources. Rates himself a 4 out of 5 in Python and data manipulation in general.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Considers himself strong with Python, also using lots of Linux commands for data pipelines, as well as Panda. Also have some experience with some Linux system administration because of some Linux commands and scripting that he did before, he believes it is related. Strong with basic statistics and mathematics, been exposed to different financial markets such as cryptocurrency, equity market, etc.
