He has about 5+ years experience now in the IT industry and was recently with XXXX as an IT Helpdesk Engineer where he was responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues across various Windows platform (Windows 10 and 11, different versions of Windows Server). He also handled user inquiries related to system access, software configurations, and network connectivity on top of managing and maintaining IT equipment, hardware peripherals, assisting with software installations, updates, and upgrades, and monitoring the health of the whole workstations and servers. Before that, he was also a Desktop/Helpdesk Support for XXXX where he was in charge of maintaining documentation and support tickets, made sure all issues are tracked and resolved promptly.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his technical capabilities and knowledge especially in Helpdesk-related technologies, that includes all types of Windows platform, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, and Microsoft 365 as well. He has great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills as well, and has strong communication skills for both end-users and stakeholders. Also since he majored in networking and system administration during university, he has great knowledge and hands-on experience with networking; well-versed with terms such as TCP/IP, OSI layers, LAN/WAN, and others.
