- He is currently working in a garment company for 18 years, from a junior role to Assistant Director now. He manages the whole IT-related issues, including helpdesk, infrastructure, and application development.
- He handles 1 engineer in HK, 5 IT engineer in China for staff factory-scale round factory, and 1 engineer in Vietnam that handles 100 users. All in all, he handles 500 users under his team. He also handles the whole process of the Order Management System, like costing, BOM, material purchase goods delivery, and shipment.
- They have a lot of subsidiaries in their company, and all the IT departments on those subsidiaries are directly reporting to him. He mainly does management for system implementations and for communication with different stakeholders and he is also hands-on as he only has 1 engineer here in Hong Kong.
- One of his projects was setting up an eCommerce platform and payment gateway for Retail businesses so he enables the e-payment and implements POS system. He was also involved in AWS deployment, as he explores the cloud solution for the mission-critical application system and evaluate the feasibility of system stability, technical reliability, and the total cost of ownership. He needs to gather enough information for the management to decide the deployment of the cloud solution in future
