He has 20 years of experience and was working for a lot of companies especially in the education sectors, NGO and NPO sector when he was working with bank and financial institutions, and they had numerous clients a long time ago and thy help them relocate the data servers and help them integrate different system like Windows/Desktop and connect them together like a total IT solution for their clients. He also worked as a Director of Computer Services of an international school and they helped them set-up the ERP system and handled a team of 3 people and after 10 years they had 15 staff to support multiple schools and they have 4 schools in HK and also handled the data centres and internet connections and handled Mac and Windows computers and did most of the integration works and also multimedia server to allow the schools and teachers to put their learning software for the kids/students.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He has skills in project management, service management and lead a team in scratch and coach a team and design an infrastructure and for organizations and he is not that good in programming since he is in a more managerial positions and they have engineers which is their staff to work for that. He is more on designing and implementation of the projects and involved in recommending new technologies to get funding from the management
- He also worked for a university for 9 years and oversaw the digital transformation program and helped the infrastructure and help build data centre and build Wi-Fi anywhere in campus and help establish an e-learning support and they were budgeted 19 million RMB.
- When he was working for the University, he recommended to use VMWare the infrastructure for safer resource sharing and work balancing because they need to build e-Learning that's why they used VMWare.
5. He also has a lot of experience in setting up O365 and other Microsoft 365 products. He also has set up numerous firewall products and has also used Cisco products in their team operation before. |
