1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as an IT Support Engineer helping end-user by using remote desktops to solve their IT issues, and another role is as an onsite engineer responsible for keeping the IT request from the helpdesk agents and then going on site to help solve the IT-related issues of the end-users.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is strongest in IT Support and rates himself 4 out of 5. He specializes in Office 365, Sharepoint, and other Microsoft-related technologies. He has solid experience with O365, Email, Sharepoint, Onedrive, and active directory. One of the tasks he did was helping one of the clients who is using an on-premise system for storing the documents in the system. He performs on-prem server migration to Sharepoint and Onedrive, from the Exchange server he set up the account from outlook then migrates to O365 and migrates the files to Sharepoint as well as managing the Active Directory.
He has basic knowledge of Azure backup however he has hands-on experience in Tape library and Veeam backup. In his previous job, he performs an in-house role helping to manage the daily support of the server and use the Veeam and Tape Library for the storage backup. He collects the data from the tape and changes the tape weekly in compliance with the company policies. They perform a weekly and monthly backup. He has solid experience with ServiceNow one of the ticketing systems they use to document which cases they can handle to solve the issues and if they can’t handle them, they will then escalate the issues. He added he has basic knowledge of Windows Patching System / Life cycle and SCCM.
