- Could you tell me about you? Your current and most recent jobs and employers? How about the previous companies and jobs?
Before he came back to HK and got his Computer Science degree in XXXXX and stayed there for a couple more years and came back to HK in 2007 and worked with different Financial Institutions. He is an all-around IT Support Specialist and does level 1 and 2 support and handles different IT Hardware and Software issues he also handles non-IT problems. He has been doing desktop support for 15 years.
- What skill(s) & experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist so far?
Has advanced knowledge in Microsoft products, able to assist users effectively and resolve
Incident. Also, very knowledgeable in IBM lotus notes and domino product, able to assist users effectively and resolve incident. Has knowledge in using IBM lotus notes and domino product, able to assist users effectively and resolve incidents. Has basic knowledge in Window Server 2003/2008 Server, work experience with using Active directory.
- He has provided IT support services to 3 offices in Asia, (Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo) for around 140 users, as a team of 3. He is stationed in HK office, as a all-rounder IT support person to support 45 users currently, mainly handle desktop support plus working with our headquarter office with AD hoc tasks from infrastructure matter. He also coordinates and escalation with Geneva support teams for resolving trading related matters in relation to our core systems.
- With his previous job he is responsible for providing onsite IT support services for multiple financial institutions client in HK, including trading floor, L/2 desktop support, and Ad hoc requests. He also can act as “all-rounder IT support person” for all types of enquiry and issues with different situations and user groups in financial institution, my belief is to promote a friendly IT service to end users to ensure an organization operate smoothly and effectively.
- He also oversees, monitor and troubleshoot of daily automation tasks scripting for client. Has a working experience of Microsoft AD server, exchange server, group policy, O365 and multiple financial applications setup (Bloomberg, Moni’s, OMS).
