1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as a Junior Claims Operations Analyst and his job duties are mostly related to business analyst and data analyst liaising between IT developers and business users on system changes. To analyze the business request and communicate with the IT to implement the changes to the system, and help the business users by contacting the right person to resolve their technical issues. His current company has been implementing the paperless strategy and he has been driving the enhancement of the system to reduce paper usage and transform the functions into an electronic form.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specializes in data analysis and rates himself 4 out of 5. One of his projects is to analyze why one of their lines of business is having an operation problem and the profit has been decreasing. He collected the data from the past few years, and current records to analyze where exactly is the problems. He has solid experience in developing documents for business requirements and process workflow diagrams. He collects the requirements from the business users and then works with IT to bring up the system changes.
He is familiar with the used case diagrams during his college years. He helps compose the workflow diagrams and visualize the new workflow and enhance the old workflows. He is familiar with the business aptitude and he is a fast learner and has the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly. He has strong documentation and ppt skills and has created several presentations even though sometimes he opts to use the template online.
