He finished his higher education in Canada (Marketing degree) and built his entire career in HK, which involves financial institutions, start-ups and listed companies. One of his achievements was to nurture a Nasdaq-listed company from scratch.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
In terms of his skillsets he has led a small team and he is more comfortable working with small teams as well and he has strong communication skills. Possesses good knowledges of diverse industries and a strong exposure in the financial industry and is able to solve business problems from the B.D. and Marketing perspective, while remaining attentive to details.
- In 2017, he started a venture with 3 expats, including an investment banker boss and found a fintech from scratch, then bloomed from 4 to well over 100 people. The company was listed on Nasdaq by late 2020. He currently works in a NGO centre, which serves the vulnerable children communities. He is responsible for ensuring the operation smoothness, and previously deployed and popularized the internet security solutions across branches, cooperates with various business units on diverse functions and works on infrastructure / system building related projects.
- He currently serves as the primary I.T. support and contact point to vendors on behalf of HK hub.
He worked in the financial industry for 5 years and began his career in X and later Xwith good sales performance in various aspects (branch level). He has good knowledge in financial products and understands how the financial industry works. |
