He has 20 years of IT experience, including 6 years in an MNC bank-firm where he was in charge of a medium-sized data network and data center facility management across the APAC region.
He is currently working as a Network Architect, where he is responsible for data center maintenance, customer solution design and implementation, and third-level support for escalated client requests and problems.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is a CCNA and CCNP certified who specialize in Network Security and Infrastructure and rates himself 4 out of 5. He has extensive knowledge of ISPs in Hong Kong, with hands-on experience in IP networks including routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF, as well as LAN technology such as VLAN, and VTP, STP, Multicast, HSRP, and VRRP. He has extensive knowledge of WAN equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA, and Checkpoint Firewall installation and configuration.
His successful projects include deploying Cisco IPT across the APAC regionals with 200+ users, establishing DC, and DR Sites in Shanghai and Singapore, and offering MPLS solutions.
