1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started his journey in the IT industry about 16 years ago now, he started as a Software Engineer then switched to multiple roles like Solution Architect, Project Manager, and was working before in India. For the last 10 years, he has been working in Hong Kong for multiple e-commerce project and is currently working with XXXX as a Sr. Project Manager where he was responsible for setting up the entire team from scratch since they are launching new projects, mostly in Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and China as well. He is responsible for setting up e-commerce team and people, train them, and involved in delivering the projects as well. He also has worked with different industries like XXXX, XXXX of Hong Kong, XXXX, and such where he had to deliver multiple projects with them as a Technical Project Manager; he developed new projects and at the same time, maintain the previously completed projects, and supported applications as well including the hardware side of things for their clients so if there are any issues or they want some upgrades, they will take over the job as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be project management and coordination, he also is good with managing client expectation and how to deliver requirements efficiently considering the resources as well. As a project manager, he is good with keeping the clients satisfied and the internal delivery teams happy every project he has handled. Industry wise, he has been into ecommerce, reward point application, and insurance as well.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has more than 8 years of experience in project manager and coordination, and is comfortable with using both Waterfall and Agile for methodologies. For the helpdesk CMS, they are currently using their client’s custom/own CMS and also has experience with Drupal; also is proficient with JIRA and Redmine for ticketing tool. With that being said, he is comfortable using both in-house and third-party applications; can also speak basic to conversational Cantonese.
