  1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
    He worked for 6 years in the XXX of Kuwait leading investment promotion projects between HK and Kuwait, pitching for investors, organizing delegation visits and conferences in both Kuwait and HK. One of his big achievements with the XXX was bringing Huawei to invest in Kuwait as a 100% ownership Company.  After leaving the consulate, he was managing a cloud kitchen business with his friends. Unfortunately, their business didn’t work and closed after 6 months due to the situation in Hong Kong caused by the restrictions of the pandemic. He started his career as a salesperson in the IT Sector managing projects from initiation and planning to execution and closing. He provided technical support in regards to installation of the software development kits his company was providing and he handled post-sales support. Later on, he moved to HK after 3 years in Dubai, yet most of the roles he undertook were Middle East related. On a personal aspect, he thinks of himself as a creative, a hardworking and a resilient person. He believes in constant learning, and he is target oriented. He acquired those characteristics during his overall work experiences in different sectors. With regards to the position in question, he thinks he has comprehensive understanding of the moving industry since he worked with XXX where he delt with the complexity of the moving process  from the household evaluation and the packing to the complexity of the special care items (Pianos / art pieces/ grandfather clocks/pets).  

  2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?

    Primarily, he thinks that the greatest asset he could be bring to the company is his language skills and the understanding of the Middle East region and its business ethics. He is capable of creating strong bonds with the Middle Eastern clients. He thinks he could assist with other ad hoc tasks like software localization or document translation from and to Arabic. He has an intermediate level in few design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and video Editing.  Yet, he is an eager learner and will always do what it takes to improve upon the skills needed for the job. He thinks knowledge is the only remedy for stress. He has basic knowledge of HTML as he helped in building and maintaining the XXX website.

  3. Do you have the lists of key criteria's according to the clients requirements?
    He has an experience in IT in addition to his language skills (Arabic/French/English). He doesn’t have a problem with it because he lived in the Middle East and quite familiar with all of the dialects there, mostly in the Egyptian since he saw on the JD that the company will be dealing with the vendors mostly from Egypt and India. He is quite familiar with that market, mentality, with the people and the culture. In addition, the company is in the relocation business. He thinks that he has the background and experience since he worked in HK for years. He also does a lot of projects in IT, he deals with a lot of IT companies, providing technical support, quite familiar with the software. He does have basic knowledge in programming especially using the .net frameworks. He has an experience in project management in Morocco for more than 1 year and 3 years in Dubai and dealt with the project from initiation up to execution. Rates himself for project management 4 out of 5 because he thinks no matter how good you are there is always room for improvement and learning hence the remaining 1%. He’s flexible depending on the time zone and it will not be a problem with him since he’s from the middle east.
