1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He first started his career with a Malaysian-listed company by his brother called XXXX as a Regional Manager where he was involved with packing materials like PVC, PU Leather for bags, and such. After some time, he moved to different Japanese and Asian companies mostly as a salesman, sales manager, assistant manager, and such. He has gone into different businesses such as electronics, food & beverages, and machinery as well. He worked in XXXX previously as a Business Manager where their main customers are from Hong Kong and China, mostly for power plants and railway related products. He also was with XXXX and XXXX as mainly sales engineer for EV car projects, and then joined XXXX as an Assistant Manager for the Sales department where he dealt with construction steel materials with Hong Kong and Macao projects. After several more roles after that, fast forward to today, he’s again back with XXXX as a Manager of Sales covering most of Hong Kong.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his communication skills and various languages that he can speak including Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese that he can leverage into doing effective sales in these regions. On top of that, he considers himself a fast learner as well since he has been into different industries and he always has adapted quickly to the products and culture.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 20 years of experience doing B2B sales, he does have some contacts/network within the engineering/construction space since he has worked for XXXX although he won’t say it is strong enough to leverage in this new drone industry. He is interested though to try more sales role in any given industry if given the chance.
