  1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?

    He began his career in technical roles, working as a contractor consultant and then with a property developer, handling responsibilities from purchasing to operations. In the second phase of his career, he transitioned to business development in the engineering, telecom, and energy industries. Since 2014, he has worked in business development for energy and technology sectors. His first significant role was with XXXX, focusing on markets in Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Myanmar, achieving nearly 100% market share in Myanmar within 2-3 years. He then worked for XXXX, based in Singapore, supporting teams in multiple countries and developing new offices across Asia. He also signed the first biogas contract in Thailand. Then, he moved back to Hong Kong and joined XXXX, managing projects across Asia and South Africa. Later, he moved to XXXX, focusing on selling green certificates and green power to help companies with ESG compliance.

His strongest skills are connecting with people and pitching to clients. He’s not about selling something they don’t want. He prefers helping them succeed.

Within his 10 years overall experience in energy companies, he handled several clients and managed them as a single point of contact. His responsibilities included strategizing on how to find customers in the market, conducting research, setting strategies, and engaging in business development to identify and pitch to potential clients. Additionally, when securing projects, he dealt with financial models and legal aspects. Once the contract was complete, he managed the operation phases from end to end to ensure everything ran smoothly, serving as the key point of contact for the customer. Mainly they provide power and sell the technologies to the clients. They also work with different teams to ensure the project success. For software setup, when implementing, he manages various software requirements like SCADA and other systems for their projects.
