He has more than 20 years’ experience in IT industry with solid experience as IT Manager role. He has been working as IT Manager for 10 years and he is leading a team of 4. He also has experience in supervising IT department and manage the operation and ensure deliverables meet business objectives and direct report to General Manager and CEO.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He has migrated and administered all 50+ servers (AIX7.1, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 2016, VMware 6.5, etc. ), and 30+ systems (Oracle 10g R2 DB, MSSQL 2016, etc. ) to cope with system life cycle management for Provision, Decommissioning, Asset Management, Patching and Hardening , etc. He had also established and maintained VMware ESX server and migrate ghost OS from physical to virtual server.
- He has also established and monitored two-tier firewalls (Palo Alto 850, FortiGate 100D, 300E and Sonicwall NSA3600 and SRA4600) , wifi solution (Aruba AP-215 with Controllers 7005), Proxy server (Bluecoat SG300) and Anti-Spam (Axway Mailgate SC) to secure the Internet connection and site-to-site VPN.
- He also did system design and implementation of Sun Solaris 10 on T4-1 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 on HP DL320e G8. Technical consideration such as storage requirement (SAN and/or DAS hardware solutions), hardware specification, capacity planning, mailbox/mail store/storage group/server recovery, BCP solutions with the use of clustering and replication services.
- He has designed and managed large scale projects based on Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions, such as Windows Azure AD, single sign-on, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Yammer, Microsoft Office 365.
6. He also has experience in installing and administrating Cisco PIX, ASA Firewall. He also operated and did a patch upgrade in-house SWIFT system, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters terminals |
