Could you tell me about you? Your current and most recent jobs and employers?
He has over 21 years of experience in the IT industry and started as a programmer after finished the bachelor degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with major in Computer Science. Back in 2006, he joined XXXX which had been working for more than 15 years. He started with the post of Computer Officer which was equivalent to the role of System Analyst. After that, he had promoted to Senior Manager and Assistant General Manager (AGM) in 2012 and 2016 respectively. A GM is an IT section head role supervising and leading the introduction and implementation of numerous large-scale postal and logistics systems costing over HKD$ 100 million to advance the internal postal operations, maximize the business agility and tackle the challenge of exponential growth of e-commerce. His experience covers all aspects of technologies from public-facing applications/websites, counter automation, internal administration systems, mail tracking systems, mobile computing and self-service kiosks. He also leads the team of around 40 IT professionals to explore and adopt new technologies such as Robotic Arms, Parcel Sorting Machine, Digital Map and GPS tracking, machine learning and data analysis, etc. As a result, the systems they implemented won various technology awards locally and internationally in the past few years, earning recognition in digital transformation and adoption of innovative technologies.

What skill(s) & experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist so far?
He is an expert in digital transformation to change traditional workflows and operations to an automated and innovative environment to advance the efficiency of the operation, reduce costs and maximize business agility. He always embraces the latest technologies in the market and promotes to the top management the adoption of technologies. One of the good examples is the in-house developed Integrated Postal Services System (IPSS) which is a large scale counter automation system that handled all types of sales and operations at counters and streamlined the financial and posting operations at the back offices. Other good examples are the newly designed self-service posting and collection kiosks, data warehouse, robotic parcel sorting machine, and mobile computing for postmen. All those achievements were recognized by the community and won an award for transforming the company into a digital and automated environment. He also had a proficient project and people management at leading teams with over 40 IT professionals to deliver the IT systems aiming to achieve the organization's goals.

Do you have ecommerce experience?
He led the IT section to handle all e-commerce IT projects within 2016 and 2018. In these years, he managed all the public facing websites/mobile apps in XXXX and the mission critical IPSS system at retail offices. He also assisted to define and executed the e-commerce strategies aiming to enhance the customer experience. His team developed the XXXX Website (XXXX), the Shopping Website (XXXX), the XXXX Website for philatelists, the Speedpost website and the XXXX official website and mobile apps. Bring convenience to the public and customers. With the well-built infrastructure, the customer analysis, customer loyalty and cross sales driving were becoming flexible and easy.
