He is responsible for maintaining supply chain solutions covering the region, covering 12 countries. Mostly the implementations if something new is coming up as a solution which is coming with the supply chain domain. He started with the warehouse management system in Hong Kong that's the main responsibility, which he implemented any other new continuous improvement initiative.
Nowadays improvising the processes within ERP such as AX, or improvising supply chain processes within that. He is also working on Power BI and working on visualizations and building visualizations for the region. He is doing many things, everything with the supply chain, everything involved with the system such as rollouts from the top management. Their headquarters in America and Europe, if something comes up from there and they need to roll it down to APAC that’s where he comes into the picture.
He has been doing system design and development for about 10 years already, he started with XXX technologies, started with support and developed the same system which he was coding. Also with XXX Hong Hong and at XXX to implement Oracle solutions. He has been hands on with systems for about 8 to 9 years now.
When he was at XXX Hong Hong he was responsible for managing an offshore team because he was onsite, there was a team sitting abc in India. He was managing the team there. Currently he is more on managing the vendors, maintaining control and directing that vendor.
He thinks an achievement of his was he had a tough project to work on which was needed to get it on go-live phase in a short time, but he started right away and was able to get the solution ready quickly and with multiple stakeholders, got them tested all the way to go live phase.
Currently as Supply Chain System Manager he reports to the Supply Chain Leader of the region, who reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.
