He is working in an insurance company and works as a technical manager and his responsibility is to take care of the IT facility in Hong Kong, he manages all the IT facility and, he manages the 2 data centres in Taiwan. He needs to communicate with the teams in both offices to discuss any issues that they might be facing, he also helps to improve the network security level. He reports to his Senior Manager, two of his sub coordinates just left the company so it's just him and the other sub coordinate who works together right now.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
Has been working for 20 years so he has a lot of Microsoft services experience, he also has knowledge in supporting other Systems. He is also AWS certified. He is also very good in doing virtualization and he has been using VMWare for more than 10 years. He is also very good in managing email migration such as Exchange Server and they use Office 365 on that end.
- He has monitored the security controls and handling, investigating and coordinating security incident using FortiGate 101e. He also assisted to implement technical project, liaise with vendor, server maintenance Louts Notes Domino R6 /R8, Windows 2k and 2k3, HRIS, Citrix Presentation Server 4.0, Linux server, MS SQL server (2000 and 2005), IBM Blade server, VMware ESX 3, IBM SAN storage and Blade Centre.
4. He manages different service providers to provide professional IT infrastructure services including data centre services, cloud services, office infrastructure services, server room management and print services. He is managing the performance of the service providers according to regulatory and internal requirements and ensure their performance meets the agreed service levels. |
