1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as Network Engineer responsible for upgrading to Huawei multiplexers, upgraded the system and the subsystem as well of the fiber backbone network of SMRT in Singapore. Also, responsible for design, integration, testing, and commissioning of Communication backbone Optics network.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is HCIA, HCNA, HCNP certified specializes in transport technology such as DWDM, SDH, and at the backend is the routing, and switching, and rates himself 5 out of 5. He has hands-on in the DWDM network equipment and configuration and just recently provided two multiplexing channels for the OCBC bank. He has solid experience in the onsite installation and deployment of fiber optics and most of his experience is onsite and providing NOC level 2 support. Recently he did POC for DWDM solutions for their customer SPTEL where he provided Service like FC1600 , FC3200 , 10 G , 40G and 100G over Huawei DWDM solution.
His successful project was the migration of Radio tetra, ATSS Signalling, Public Address, Clock & SCS Services from the existing SDH network to the new Communication Backbone Fiber Optic network using SDH, DWDM and MPLS-TP technology.
