He has over 18 years of experience as a Sr.Transmission NOC Engineer in X GROUP responsible for identifying root cause and troubleshoot level II faults on the transmission layer, during severe outages and ensure restoration of service within SLA, manage and lead the NOC team and Service order Request teams for Manage network service project and responsible for inter-working with Access, Backbone Project teams for delivery of new projects.
Previously worked with X as a Telecommunication Engineer responsible for installation, testing, commissioning of new Mitsubishi DX7000AC and oversee the acceptance of the equipment and World Point Telecom in USA, collaborating with X Transmission NOC statistical traffic analysis and performance management and provide onsite training and online support to clients.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specialized in transport network operation, maintenance, administration and provisioning. He is also highly skilled in PDH, SDH, WDM, MPLS, SCADA systems, optical fiber engineering, DCME and network cabling, and rates himself 4.5 out of 5 of all skills mentioned.
He came from a customer facing-role where he widely experienced across multiple-vendor and multi-cultural environment. His successful projects was the configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of RTN620, OSN 7500II, OSN 55, OSN3500, OSN1500, OSN7500, OSN9500, OSN 6800, OSN 8800, BWS 1600G, U2000, Navigator, Data collector. Also perform preventive maintenance on the transmission network to rectify potential problems include LLD design for OSN 8800 DCN connectivity complete LLD design for DWDM network, DWDM network design over Huawei MDS 6300, and Lambda commissioning and OPA optimization for NG DWDM network.
