Interview Assessment Notes

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She brings over 22 years of experience in project management and BAU (Business as Usual) technologies, with a strong track record of mid-to-senior leadership roles. Throughout her career, she has spent nearly 17 years in client-facing positions, showcasing her ability to build relationships, manage projects, and drive successful outcomes.
Most recently, she worked with XXXX, where she contributed to fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for their client, Google. This role involved evaluating and improving machine learning software by processing and verifying image quality, analyzing prompts, and ensuring the accuracy and localization of responses. As part of a research-oriented team of around 30 PhD holders, she played a key role in training the machine learning algorithms to deliver high-quality outputs. While this work was intellectually engaging, she found herself missing the direct client interaction that she thrives on.
Prior to her role at Uber Technology, she served as a Senior Manager at XXXX, where she oversaw globalization efforts and worked closely with technical project managers handling enterprise engineering services products. Her responsibilities included task management, project management, Agile project creation, incident ticket handling, and coordinating BAU technologies. She managed a diverse team of 22 global resources, spanning the US, Canada, and Asia, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery. Her ability to identify the right skills from both internal pools and the open market, and then groom team members for success, was a key component of her leadership approach.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
She considers her strongest skills to be team leadership, client engagement, and project facilitation. She thrives in roles where she can connect with clients face-to-face, understand their requirements, and orchestrate seamless collaboration between the back-end development, delivery, integration, and end-user support teams. Her passion for working with people and facilitating solutions has been the driving force behind her two decades of success in the IT industry.
Her ability to foster positive relationships, ensure clear communication, and deliver results has made her a trusted leader and client liaison. She takes pride in creating an environment where both the team and the client feel supported and valued, leading to strong partnerships and consistently successful projects.
