Currently, she serves as Deputy Branch Manager, where she is responsible for overseeing both branch operations and sales. She emphasizes the importance of providing high-quality customer service, which she believes is essential for driving sales. Her approach focuses on delivering excellent service to foster customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives, ensuring a balance that benefits both the organization and its clients.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
She has been with ICC Bank since 2013, starting as a Privileged Banker and gradually progressing through various roles. Over time, she advanced from Privileged Banker to Senior Privileged Banker. She also managed NRI (Non-Resident Indian) customers for two years, which led to her role as an NRI Relationship Manager.
In 2020, she took on the role of Branch Relationship Head, leading a team of around 12 Privileged Bankers. Her journey shifted from sales to operations, and she is now serving as a Branch Manager. In this capacity, she oversees both branch operations and sales. As a Deputy Branch Manager, she handles the day-to-day operations of the branch, which include foreign exchange, normal transactions, asset management, liabilities, retail operations, and servicing customers with the best knowledge and satisfaction.
Her main focus aligns with the bank’s policy of being fair to both the bank and the customer. She believes that exceptional service is essential for driving sales, as good service and sales go hand in hand. Her key focus is always on providing the highest level of service to ensure customer satisfaction and, in turn, generate sales.
3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more?
She manages a team of 7 wealth managers and 12 relationship managers. They serve customers who are involved in trading, and she actively manages her own personal trading portfolio.
Although the types of trading might differ, the principles are similar. While she is focused on stocks, forex trading also operates with leverage and margin. In stock trading, she buys at a certain price and sells at a higher price, with the difference between the two being the margin or profit. Forex trading involves currencies, and the concept of trading is based on currency pairs. The process of earning profits is similar, as it also involves leverage.
In India, she has used platforms like Idirect for stock market trading. For Forex, she has experience with MetaTrader 5, which also involves various markets such as futures and options, which are present in both stocks and Forex. The main difference between the two is that in Forex, the focus is on currency buying and selling, while in the stock market, there are various stocks and companies, such as large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap.
To manage business risk, she believes in regularly training staff and holding daily meetings to ensure that processes and updates are communicated and followed correctly. General meetings and team calls are also part of her strategy to share knowledge and updates. She also emphasizes educating the team about market knowledge and sharing insights to help mitigate risks.
When it comes to CRM processes, she ensures that clients are updated on market risks and outlooks, providing them with relevant information about the market’s movements to help them make informed decisions.
