Interview Assessment Notes
|
1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has a total of around four years of experience in XXXX, specifically in Salesforce development. He has worked with a consulting company, where he was involved with a client in the HR management industry. Currently, he is building on CPQ and working with various cloud applications. He has been involved with integrations, invoices, and enabling some code-to-cache processes for the client.
Before that, he was associated with a software company, where he worked for a financial solutions platform. At this company, he focused extensively on LWC, particularly in migrating classic versions of the system to Lightning versions. He also integrated their system with a payment gateway to send and receive invoices.
In terms of his day-to-day responsibilities, he currently works in an Agile environment. He follows a completely Agile methodology, starting with gathering requirements from the client. He conducts requirement analysis, documents the requirements, and converts them into JIRA stories. Once the JIRA stories are created, he reviews them with the team to estimate the effort required.
After estimating the stories, he pulls them into the current sprint and assigns them to the appropriate developers. The development process includes analyzing the JIRA story, developing the required features, and performing unit testing. Once the unit testing is complete, the JIRA is handed over to Quality Engineering (QE) for further testing. Afterward, he prepares the release for deployment.
In addition to his development responsibilities, he is also involved in code reviews. He and his team review each other’s code to ensure quality and consistency across the team.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
He would describe his strongest skills as being in XXXX, particularly with Lightning development, including LWC (Lightning Web Components) and Apex, including asynchronous Apex triggers, SQL, and future methods. He is also proficient in working with REST APIs, which he considers one of his major skills.
In addition to that, he has worked with the Enterprise Patterns (EPICs), a coding standard that he follows in his development work. He is also experienced in using mocking frameworks to efficiently write test classes and ensure quality in the codebase.
3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more?
He has a background in Salesforce CRM. During his graduate program, he studied Salesforce CRM as part of a six-month subject. Afterward, he continued working with Salesforce CRM in his professional career.
During his college years, he worked on 2-3 personal projects, such as a task tracking system, which served as a proof of concept (POC) for day-to-day task management.
Regarding other Salesforce products, he has worked extensively with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. While his experience with Sales Cloud is extensive, he has only worked on a single POC with Marketing Cloud.
