He is originally from Italy and has been HK for 6 years or less and has degree in Innovation and Technology and has a Master's in Science in Innovation and Technology, before graduating he started working in Milano and worked there for 3 months and he was the IT Risk Management and supporting the audit team and testing the IT systems of the client to make sure there is no threat coming in and then went back to his hometown in Bologna and worked for Marposs and he was collecting all the financial statement data from around the world and they have 40 offices from around the world and he worked there for 1 year and he was promoted to Senior Controller from Junior Controller and they worked on a new project which is to launch a new ERP System.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
Regarding with the language his native language is Italian and he is fluent in English since he has a master’s degree language in English and German as well but not that fluent. During his last year in university, he did an exchange program in Korea. He is Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint) and data base software more specifically with IDEA and SPSS which is a statistic software and he used Oracle Hyperion for the planning and budgeting part. He is also knowledgeable in SAP and ERP systems. He has helped them set up the accounts and align with it the headquarters, when it comes to managing people, he has 4 people working under him as a salesperson and other 2 people in financial management and managing people is not a problem with him.
- He is also managing the budget control for the APAC region, and then he was given an opportunity to move to Hong Kong where he was offered by his boss since he was doing well in managing the APAC Region. In his current job he was responsible for all accounting and finance activities for the Asian branches he also take care relationships with the banks and other external responsibilities and he was also responsible in establishing new branches in Vietnam, Indonesia and India.
4. Never had any selling in data related solutions and in his experience as long as the product that you can learn and if you are good salesman it would be easy for him to understand to sale and explain it to the customers. |
