1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He studied Engineering and has degree in Physics, from this background he started to work for a sensor company mainly used for cars, the company is XXXX and he served as an R&D Engineer, he worked there with a team that specialized on automotive sensors and did technical support on optical fluid concentration sensor as well. After that, he switched to the semiconductor industry and worked as a Process Engineer for Ion Implantation systems; later on they sent him to Taiwan to support their customers there and he’s currently working with XXXX where he’s doing more of sales/technical support and application engineering; he’s in direct contact with their customers in Japan, promote their products, and do support in installation of their tools and equipment. They also do field service support and explain to customers how to use and operate their equipment. He’s based in Japan for about a year now and is trying to master his Japanese language skills.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his team player skills and good communication to any teams. He also worked in different culture including France, Taiwan, and Japan so he can easily adapt to any situation both business and technical side. Industry-wise, he has worked with the automotive and semiconductor industry so he has knowledge about the demands, products, and equipment in those two areas. On the technical side, he is good with coding and has used Python previously for coding.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 6+ years now of combined experience in technical support and field applications, and has worked in both automotive (during his first work) and semiconductor (previous and current work) companies. On top of that, he has good grasp of Python and very knowledgeable with sensor technologies; he’s also keen to learn more about radar imaging systems if needed. He’s also familiar with electronic systems during his previous work in Taiwan and has been doing sales support, both presales and post sales, in his current company.
