1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He’s an electrical and optical engineer, has experience working in some companies and universities as well already. He mostly do research in optical communication and measurement with his skills in FPGA, digital circuit design, and previously has worked with XXXX as an R&D Engineer where he mostly worked with FPGA as well on both optics and electronics side. Before this, he worked in Singapore for FPGA design of various kind of optical system and quantum information. Most of his other experiences are doing research and development, also has taught on multiple universities with topics on optical communication, digital circuits, FPGA design, LiDAR field as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his experience in FPGA design, system design, and both RF and optics. His skillset also includes mostly on the optics side such as LiDAR, optical fiber communication, and such. Also has worked on microwave technologies and tools like Matlab, Scilab, C, and Python.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Most of his experience are with R&D and mostly responsible for the technical side of things but he would be comfortable working on technical support and field applications as well. He is mostly using Matlab and C for scripting but would be fine using Python as well; he is currently working on LiDAR stuff so he should be good for radar imaging systems and has worked on many types of sensors already especially optical sensors. He also is a native Japanese speaker so will be useful for supporting Japanese customers.
