1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is originally from Vietnam but is based currently in Tokyo after graduating from college. He started his career with XXXX as a Solution Architect where he was a customer support engineer that provided technical support for mobile core network system and later on was promoted to plan the system verification and integration activities. After that, he joined XXXX as a Field Application Engineer where he again provided technical support for both post-sale and presale, has worked closely with their customers as well in introducing new products, do trainings with them on how to use the product, and troubleshoot if there are any problems with the product. Then later on, he joined XXXX as a Pre-sale Engineer where he worked mainly on mission-critical communications like walkie-talkie and such; he provided technical trainings and worked closely with sales, product management teams to promote the solutions/product. He is now with them as a Solutions Engineer where he is also providing technical support for pre-sale activity for communication system, security camera, mobile camera, and relevant solutions.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be troubleshooting and solution design since he has been doing technical support for more than 5 years now and at the same time, involved in solutions engineering as well. He is good in pointing out problems in the design phase up until the deployment phase and eventually proposing a solution for it. Rates himself a 4 out of 5 in doing field applications and technical support.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 5-6 years now of experience in doing field applications and technical support, has been doing it since he started his career where he mostly supports presale and post-sale activities for their customers. He has basic knowledge of Python, can read codes and can do basic scripting as well, and has familiarity with radio frequency for communications; would be willing to learn more about radar imaging and sensor technologies as well if needed. Most of his experience is on the telecommunication side but is also open to join an automotive-focused industry if given the chance since he also has done automotive research before; has exposure to electronics and electrical systems because of his educational background.
