1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He used to work with XXXX in Korea as a Senior Project Manager where he was involved with telecommunication and data center business, supporting management including delivery and operation. For the past 16 years, he is in charge of IT Infrastructure and Data Center business; after Covid, they decided to move to Japan and joined XXXX as an APAC IT Manager where he managed Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong stores’ IT service delivery including POS, employment systems, internet delivery, and handles each locations vendor management as well. Before XXXX, he was with XXXX as the Head of Global Business, was with XXXX Korea as a Project Manager, BD, and Product Owner as well where he handled again Data Center projects and Network-related projects. Started off as a Project Manager for XXXX where he was involved with both wired and wireless network consulting, design, and construction.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his great exposure to IT and Telecommunications, also his great knowledge with infrastructure. He is proficient with data center technology process, project management, and also team management apart from his international business exposure and multicultural environment familiarity having worked with different countries inside and outside APAC.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 16 years of experience in infrastructure project management, mostly managing data center and network projects on top of global project management experience as well. He is also knowledgeable with server infrastructure, networking, firewall, and data center technologies as well; he is also good with IT/OT systems integration and implementation, and he works closely with the operation team in this. Since he has been working in data center for many years now, he is well-versed with cybersecurity standards especially ISO 27001. He is currently based in Japan, although coming originally from Korean, but he is very open to work remotely in Japan then travel to South Korea if needed.
