1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has about 20+ years of experience in doing sales for medical devices and IVD products, mostly doing management positions as well. His latest role was with XXXX as a Senior Manager, Head of MDx Sales in Japan, he initially started there as a Senior Market Development Manager; he was responsible there for overseeing the sales budget, make contracts with few distributor, and involved in product launching as well from the marketing end mostly for medical equipment and products. Before this, he was a Branch Sales Manager for XXXX where he handled CAD/CAM sales management and also led dealer management, all seminars, and events as well. Previously, he was a Sales Director for XXXX and a Sales Block Manager for XXXX as well where he again handled medical devices in Western Japan. He started off as a Sales Manager for XXXX where he handled medical devices and equipment such as diagnostic ultrasound devices and relevant products.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his coaching skills especially since he has learned it internationally, he’s good with building and mentoring teams; aside from that he is a licensed Medical Technician so he can also leverage his knowledge there into his sales roles. His most recent Sales achievement is back in Qiagen where they achieved 101% of their budget.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has 20+ years of experience in doing sales and marketing mostly handling medical equipment, devices, and products as well. Most of his contacts and customer base are within healthcare companies and hospitals but would be willing to expand to insurance sector as well. He is also interested to try selling IT/Tech related products although he doesn’t have that experience yet.
