1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has about 15 years of experience in the IT industry and started as a Software Engineer with XXXX where she designed and developed IT solutions using different applications such as Teradata, Cobol, ETL, and such. After several years, she was promoted to a Junior Project Leader where she managed the whole team and middle-sized projects as well, mostly working on BI projects using the same technologies again; on top of that, she supervised the team, conducted code reviews, managed and maintained all documentation reports to senior management, prepare all the meetings and such. After that, she switched to XXXX as a Senior Project Leader where she handled larger scope of projects with a team expanding from 11 to 50 people, they designed, developed, and implemented warranty projects and solutions. After that, she switched to cloud-based projects where they developed with data engineers, business analysts, testers, and even architects. She is now with a Canadian bank as a Scrum Master and Data Tech Leader where she ensures that the team is using Agile methods, facilitates all the Agile meetings, and provides guidance as a technical leader as well. She foster collaborative and open communication with her team and always conduct reviews to ensure the deliverables are met and with high quality.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be more on the data management side, along with IT leadership, and software project management. She tends to stay close to the technical side of things and is doing 50% of it and 50% of the management stuff, with teams and projects.
