1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Went to HK to set up regional offices of X Inc. using Microsoft Network including Microsoft product, set up ERP system and migrated the customize ERP system to Oracle E-business Suite.
Previously worked as a Global IT Director with X a products manufacturer of OEM, ODM along with bose, google, amazon and Microsoft, and Samsung in Asia. Responsible for migrating on-premise infrastructure to the cloud with a very tight timeline to comply with security concerns.
Joined X as a Regional Solutions Delivery Manager responsible for finance, IT, and manufacturing. His first project was rolling out SAP controller for 12 countries in the APAC region and it took 2 years for him to harmonize SAP controller with JDE. The second project was to standardize all the JDEs for migrating to the cloud, took 1.5 years to upgrade all the JDEs in the APAC region into a new version.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is strongest in handling big projects and ensures all the team members in the APAC region are aligned and all the resources are on timeline and budget, rated himself 4 out of 5. His successful project was the JDE upgrading from China to Australia with the different business requirements, ensuring that there would be no business interruption during the upgrade. He has solid experience in Office 365 and his successful project was to design, plan, and rollout Corporate Microsoft Office 365, which rated 3.5 out of 5 because office 365 is always evolving application. Has supported 6K+ users with his previous company Matte Inc.
Has extensive knowledge of MS Exchange and his successful project was designing, configuring, and deploying Microsoft Exchange Mail System in Asia. Spearhead deployment of Windows NT and subsequent migrations to Windows 2000 and Windows XP and Exchange 5.5 and subsequent upgrades to Exchange 2000, 2003, and 2007 and rated himself 4 out of 5.
Had solid experience in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Office365, MS-Exchange, DHCP, and DNS. He rated himself 4 out of 5 in Microsoft Server and his successful project was Design and deploy Microsoft Network Environment in Asia. Successfully migrating mainframe SAP R/1 into SAP R/2 Server / Client with locally hosted, backup with VMware. Assigned IP address dynamically using DHCP, the network is in 3 layers ensuring the responsiveness of the user and getting the data on a real-time basis and Active Directory is where he controls all the users.
