1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as a Senior NOC Engineer responsible for providing 24 hours support in identifying and handling of network incidents. He is in charge of the infrastructure such as firewalls, routers, switches and servers for the parent company for garena in charge for online gaming, e-commerce such as shopee similar to lazada. Also responsible for monitoring system, liase with internal stake holder on escalation and reporting.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specializes in Networking for routers, switches, firewalls, and rates himself 4 out of 5. He perform installation, configuration and maintenance network/ security/workstation and operating system Cisco 4331 routers, Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Switch, Cisco Meraki etc. He work closely with vendors such as Cisco, Huawei, Juniper transmission and other network teams, as well as with other ISP to ensure optimal services are consistently delivered through their network. He added that he has no hands-on experience in the DWDM network but he has exposure on it.
