Currently working as a Sr. Engineer responsible for planning, layer 2 switches, site acquisition, vendor management, and the yearly budget planning, overseeing the performance of his team in the network maintenance.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specializes in the DWDM transport network and rates himself 3.5 out of 5. He has hands-on experience with the Huawei network equipment however he does not configure the device since he is working at the backend providing the highest support Level 3 to his team. He is familiar with how to manage the vendors in the implementation, and commissioning stage. He has no hands-on experience in an onsite underground installation of fibers however he is well versed in data center fiber optics. He is not familiar with the IP network since his expertise is in layer 2 only.
