1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as an IT Manager responsible for managing the IT department, and all IT equipment of X restaurants including managing the 500 users for 40+ restaurants. His recent project was a self-service kiosk to serve only the black sheep restaurant team, preparing the restaurant for the IT equipment like the POS system, planning the network and schematic network design for the restaurant. Besides managing the IT equipment, he also managed O365 for the whole organization, Onedrive / Sharepoint for data cloud storage.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He has been using Microsoft technologies for 7 years. He is strongest in Office 365, G-suites, hardware-related issues, and networks and rates himself 3 out of 5. He has 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure management where he managed all the IT infrastructure of his current company. He has hands-on experience with network equipment, VPN, Windows Server, AD, Linux, LAN/WAN, backup, and recovery.
He used the 2012 R2 Windows Server for managing the finance team member and at the same time currently using AD to manage the users with his current company. He rarely use Linux and VMware with his current company but he previously use it before. He use Azure backup and recovery for the server as well as using locally hardware backup, and cloud service backup.
He has solid experience in Microsoft Exchange server, Microsoft Active Directory, and his using it every day with his current company. He added he has no experience in Veeam and Tape library however he has previous experience with ITSM tool, preferably with Service Now.
