1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He began his DWDM scope of work from legacy to network and went to Singapore after 7 years of working in the Philippines. He is currently working as an Associate Engineer in Singapore responsible for DWDM high and low level design, issuance, and asset management, as well as onsite assistance such as troubleshooting and testing.
He previously worked as a Network Engineer in Singapore, where he was responsible for providing daily support for CIENA and ADVA products, which included installation, commissioning, and maintenance of DWDM optical hardware platforms, as well as analyzing and documenting all actions taken to resolve customer issues.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is a Huawei Certified Network Association member who specializes in DWDM layer 1 and layer 2 networks and gives himself a 4 out of 5 rating. He provides customer maintenance assistance for deployed DWDM products, including outage details and root cause analysis reporting.
He has worked on a variety of platforms, including Nokia, Infinera, Ribbon, Huawei, and DWDM, where he was in charge of architecting and designing transmission for the OTN platform and active network to satisfy business deliverables and network reliability goals.
