1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Current working as a Senior NOC Engineer responsible for customer calls do initial triage isolation and troubleshooting until the problem has been solved and they do it remotely through ticketing system. As part of troubleshooting, he also access the network helpers, transport device and if the fixed can be done at their level then they will implement the changes. He is handing APAC based customers, SG, Japan, HK, Australia, and Korea.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is a Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIS-ENT) specializes in transmission equipment such as Infinera, Ciena for the DWDM to extend their service to other locations, Juniper for IP network, and rates himself 4 out of 5. He has hands-on experience in Infinera CX10 and CX100 use 10G pair ports to extend their service from their provider router to the location of their customer device. Checking of the ports status, domain sub loopback testing, provisioning of circuits within the specific device. He is also knowledgeable in BTI 821, 7200, 7800 and now they acquire Cisco devices where they use base packet form to deliver their services. He added he has no hands-on experience in an onsite installation of fiber optic cables and only provide Level 2 support since he is a NOC Engineer
