1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as a Core Network Engineer responsible for sales requirement given by the different vendors, checking, testing the equipment’s depends on the proposal and coordinating with the vendors. After the technical evaluation the next step is the procurement, purchase and then conduct the inventory of the items and monitor the project implementation. Provides L3 support whenever there is a problem in the core network. The transmission equipment they use is CISCO and Nokia.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specialized in transmission technology specifically the OTN, SDH, DWDM, and rates himself 5 out 5. He has solid experience in planning, designing (HLD/LLD) to meet customer requirements, conduct equipment and server software upgrade, provide on-site implementation, installation of equipment and run testing for BER, Switch-over (ASON/SNCP), RFC2544, etc. He has hands-on experience with Huawei on actual on-site implementation, monitor the contractors during installation as well as acceptance testing. He has solid expertise in CISCO, Huawei and Nokia.
His successful project was the OTN expansion involves CISCO and Nokia, provide on-site monitoring installation and acceptance testing. Other projects include the OTN expansion in the PLDT network one of the biggest telecom in the Philippines, responsible for monitoring the whole island of the Philippines. He has no network certifications but currently taking a boot camp CCNA certifications, even though he has no network certifications his college degree is relevant to the telecommunication field.
