1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He began his career as a Support Engineer in 2019, working in XXXX Philippines, where he was responsible for providing technical support to end users. One of his early roles was at XXXX, where he gained hands-on experience in troubleshooting and IT support.
Currently, he is a Technical Support Lead overseeing operations in a data center environment. His responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, handling Google, Amazon, and IDP data centers, and ensuring smooth service operations. He has a strong background in service desk operations, utilizing various ticketing systems and collaborating with different departments to resolve technical issues efficiently.
In his day-to-day work, he focuses on access management, credential management, and coordination with ICT teams and database administrators. His experience extends to working with external teams to optimize IT workflows and enhance overall system performance.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
He specializes in both hardware and software troubleshooting, as these areas have been his training ground since the beginning of his career. His expertise includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to servers, desktops, and networking equipment, ensuring seamless IT operations.
Currently, he is focused on cloud migration implementation, where he plays a key role in transitioning systems and infrastructure from on-premises to cloud environments. His experience includes working with various cloud platforms and collaborating with different teams to ensure a smooth migration process.
Additionally, he has strong IT infrastructure management skills, handling access control, credential management, and system optimization. His ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions efficiently makes him a valuable asset in IT operations and cloud infrastructure projects.
3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more?
He has extensive experience in Level 2 support and also provides Level 1 support when needed. His responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user access, and resolving system-related concerns. He has worked with various IT infrastructures and has hands-on experience in incident resolution, system monitoring, and escalations.
He also has experience with SecurID, particularly from his time as a System Administrator in the Philippines. Since 2019, he has been involved in managing authentication systems, ensuring secure access for users. While he has knowledge of ITIL best practices, he has yet to complete an official certification due to its high cost in the Philippines, but he is planning to pursue it in the future.
Regarding software tools, he has worked with ManageEngine and ServiceNow for IT service management, and he is familiar with Jira for issue tracking and project management. His experience with these tools enables him to efficiently manage tickets, track incidents, and collaborate with teams to maintain smooth IT operations.
