Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He got into the data center role when he was working in Singapore way back 2011 and his role is related to the data center operation that Includes monitoring of the environment like monitoring of the temperature, humidity, the fire alarms, or water detection that is more on the facility side. The other one is network circuit provisioning and more on the cabling parts and physical networks, they do patching, install some network devices, test the networks and once done, they will handling it on the customers. These services is more on the metro ethernet like Wan services of the telecom and the last one is called the smarthand where the customers ask them to check the physical servers onsite since they are the once administrating the tickets remotely and can’t come over onsite and they also do some basic checking with their system based on their instructions. He said that he has been doing it for more than 10 years. After that he was hired in Singapore as well but was assigned in Hong Kong doing the same role. During the pandemic, he came back in the Philippines and get into some WFH jobs and recently joined in the data center operations in their city.
