1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
A graduate of Computer Science with over 12 years of experience in the field of IT industry focused on Internetworking, Database, Spanning IT Infrastructure, I.P Telephony, Communication, and Network Management, System Operations, Service Management, and Disaster Recovery.
Previously worked with MNC oil and gas company as a System Administrator the head office in Houston and after 2 years he was transferred to the new office in Shanghai China as an IT engineer where he establish a data center, then promoted as IT Manager in Dubai in 2017. Currently working as a Network and System Engineer in X.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He is strongest in System and Network Administration, technical support, database admin, virtualization, IP telephony and data center. He rated himself 4 out of 5 of all skills mentioned. Hi successful project was in Shanghai, China where he establish data center, IT infrastracture, video conferencing and migrate data center from one location to another for 1 month and provide remote connectivty between 6 regional offices. He was able to learn chinese langague during his 4-5 years project with chinese vendors and contractors.
His other successful projects includes managing and monitoring 400 + network users including 6 regional offices (DGK, BWP, MUL, FSD, SGD, and RWP) connected with secure VPN. Implemented large-scale networks based on Cisco switches and routers using OSPF and multicast routing, and PfSense firewall.
Managed the design and implementation of 3 data centers, applying technical expertise in Microsoft infrastructures and database/security application servers in high-availability/fault tolerance configuration built using Dell PowerEdge R720 Servers, Avaya PBX and Centralized CCTV cameras monitoring of all regional offices. Installation, configuration and maintenance of Active Directory Domain Controllers (Windows server 2012 R2, 2008, 2003 R2) of eight remote sites connected through Implicit Trust, managing Security Group Policies & centralized administration through WHS scripts.
