1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He graduated with a degree in Business Management. He started his career right after graduation at Bank of America, owned by the Abu Dhabi Group, where he worked in acquiring and account management for about four years. He then moved to the UAE and worked at a payment technology company called XXXX, a well-known brand in the MENA region. He worked with Engine, a French company, focusing on exclusive distribution partnerships and launching products, including payment solutions, credit card issuance, debit card issuance, and loyalty solutions. With nine years of experience in the payment domain, he has worked in payment issuance and acceptance, as well as remittance solutions. His day-to-day responsibilities involve handling communication with clients, managing leads and connections, and using his network to generate leads for the region, especially in the UAE.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
He specializes in connecting and meeting people for sales and marketing, particularly in the fintech and payment sectors. He has strong skills in understanding customer needs and using that insight to improve products and services. His experience in building relationships and networking helps him stay attuned to market demands and customer expectations.

He handles the development process of an IT product by working closely with a team focused on quality development and testing. He ensures the team has all the necessary information and provides full support, drawing on his nine years of experience collaborating with technical teams. His approach involves designing a plan and then working through it step by step.
He has academic exposure to blockchain and has worked on various data model solutions, including P2P payments and payment processing. He is highly knowledgeable in payment systems, particularly digital and card payments, having worked in the payments industry throughout his career.
To stay updated in fintech, he subscribes to newsletters, follows industry leaders, attends conferences and exhibitions, and reads extensively. He believes attending exhibitions and interacting with industry leaders helps him stay on top of trends and new developments.
He has also worked with international teams, including those from China, where he used tools like translators and platforms such as WeChat and AliPay to communicate and understand the integration of digital platforms and super apps in China.
