- Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is a Service Delivery Manager/Project Manager. He is mainly doing application support and overseeing application projects which is a system for internal staff like CRM where the staff can query customer preferences and how to upsell the customer whether they have any preferences it also manages the gaming and non-gaming aspects, and all the staff are the one who uses it. He also taking charge of the data warehouse system that is developed by Alibaba and they use it for data analytics and uses it for both gaming and non-gaming needs. He also takes charge of all the IT incidents, and he is also looking after the asset management system, and they use his system for auditing when a gaming slot has to be moved from one spot to another which is critical for the company. There was a lot of reshuffling that is happening in the IT team/department and even their supervisor is new, and they are forming a new team. He also did product planning; he worked as a project manager and managed the horse racing and look at the contracting and make sure that the control system is up to date and make sure that the control is running smoothly.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
Skills wise he has a strong experience with AWS and other cloud services, and he is also good with SQL, Java, and C# he is not an expert, but he is very familiar with the process. He is also good with Jira and Remedy Force, and he has used quite a lot with their projects. He is also very willing to learn and does not quit easily
- He has managed 4 people under him, and they were contractors and two of them are vendors for application management service and he manages them to help him to maintain the system and he is part of the interview process/hiring process of the people in his team.
- Right now, he is doing Level 2 support whenever there are any incidents from the service desk it will be escalated to them to help fix the issue and troubleshoot the troubleshoot the problem and if not fixed, they will escalate it to Level 3 to the engineers to help fix the problem.
5. They use Jira and Confluence but with confluence it is more in-house, and he mainly uses Jira and Remedy Force to the tracking and report generation, and he prefers Jira because of its interface as it is more basic and easier. He also has a programming background and whenever the system needs any troubleshooting, he makes sure to work with his team engineers to make sure that they figure out the root of the problem to make sure that the issue won't arise again in the future. |
