He has been working in Singapore for 14 years. Recently worked as a Service Implementation Specialist responsible for the performance and coordination of all Operator and Partner administration, reviewing current processes and looking for quality and efficiency gains where possible.
Previously worked as a Network Operations Engineer for DWDM Network Infrastructure, responsible for daily maintenance, resolving customer issues, escalating to Huawei if there are any issues, software patch upgrades, perform end-to-end troubleshooting from Layer 1 to Layer 2.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specializes in project coordination and rates himself 4 out of 5. He’s been involved in migrations projects, new infrastructure, and demolition projects. He has hands-on experience in the DWDM network such as deployment, operations, and maintenance for APG & ASE Singapore Back Haul, GIN, Arcstar, DWDM services, and configuration of port IP for layer 1 and layer 2. He provides Level 3 vendor support for fiber optics and the DWDM network.
He has solid experience in different platforms such as Juniper BTI, Ciena, Infinera, Cyan, ADVA DWDM, and basic configurations of routers, switches, and firewalls of Infinera, Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto. He added he has network certifications from Huawei.
