Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has 15 years of solid experience in the IT industry and his first job at XXX is as a transmission engineer for the microwave and after that, they further improve with SDS and later on he had experienced on DWDM. So far, they have had handled several projects for overseas like Maldives submarine projects and DWDM Networks and microwave. He also said that in Lanka, they had two operators, the dialog and insulting which he is the one who is responsible for the dialog projects. He is included in the planning for the network design, fibre, and the network planning. They also do the training for the customers and service planning and mapping. In the year 2015, they started to link and deploy their DWMD network in Sri Lanka and started with the 10G and 4G but then upgrading it to 100G and 400G expansions. He also has an experience with the GPON which is one of the growing technologies in Sri Lanka. He is now working as technical manager so he is responsible for operation and maintenance and other related task for network assurance or the whole network. So, if any problem or issues identify, they have to rectify based on the target schedule to avoid some accident and even though they have senior engineer level, they also need to take over some different roles.

He said that for his strongest skill, he is good when it comes to DWDM and said that he has almost 8 years of solid experience for that. He is also willing to relocate in different countries like Dubai, Singapore, and Hong Kong if there’s a good opportunity since in his country there’s a limited scope for the DWDM networks.
