Throughout his career, he has built a vast portfolio of products sold, primarily in South Africa, with 6 to 8 years of international sales experience covering Canada, the UK, New York, the Middle East, and Dubai. Currently, he works remotely for a cybersecurity company based in South Africa, selling into the Middle East, Africa, and Dubai. His expertise lies in key account management, having handled around 300 accounts, focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring account renewals within a SaaS environment for a banking financial business.

He prides himself on his grit, resilience, and accountability, honed over 18 years of sales experience. At this stage in his career, as he approaches 40, he seeks to join a business where he can contribute meaningfully and build the final leg of his professional journey. He embraces responsibility, honesty, and a willingness to start from the ground up if necessary, all while aiming to make a significant impact on his future company and the broader business landscape.

He has a wealth of experience with both wins and losses, learning valuable lessons from each. His highest sales target was 29 million South African Rand (approximately 1.5 million USD), which he surpassed, achieving 48 million Rand (around 2.6 million USD) in that year. Notably, he has never missed a sales target in his 18 years of experience. His sales strategy is built on two key principles: hard work and relationship management. He believes that consistent effort and genuine customer connections lead to success. In key account roles, he focuses on maintaining strong relationships with C-suite executives, ensuring he is their go-to contact for any issues, such as system outages or support tickets. A notable achievement in his career was developing an automated voice recording system, or ABM, which functioned similarly to today’s AI but in a more manual form, showcasing his innovative and solution-oriented mindset.
